Woodkirk is justly proud of its record in this field. We have around 680 computers all of which are networked and can access the Internet. There are 8 computer suites where ICT lessons take place, but there are also suites of computers in Business Studies, the sixth form study area and the learning resource centre. Students use trolleys of wireless laptops in Mathematics and Science. All students have their own personal log-on to the Leeds Learning Network and their own email account.

At KS3 (years 7 to 9) every student has a weekly ICT lesson. At KS4 (years 10 and 11) students can opt for courses in GCSE ICT, GCSE Business and Communications Systems or Award in Digital Applications. In the sixth form (years 12 and 13) students study AS and A2 ICT. Results at KS3 and KS4 are good and are above the national figures. In the sixth form results are in line with national figures.
